Q. What is the initial login ID for National City customers?
A. The initial login ID is the same login ID you used for National City, however you will need to enter it in lower case letters only.
Q. Will my Online Banking password be the same as it was at National City?
A. No. Upon logging in for the first time, you will need to enter the last six digits of your Social Security Number. Please note that the initial password is set to the primary online banking customer’s social security number but not necessarily the primary owner of the account. If the account is joint, the initial password may be set to the joint owner’s Social Security Number.
Q. I’ve been locked out of my Online Banking account. How can I reset my login information?
A. After three incorrect login ID attempts or three incorrect password attempts, you will be locked out of your Online Banking account. To have your login information reset, please contact us at 1-888-288-5843.
Q. Can I still use Alerts?
A. Yes. If you used this function previously, you will need to re-establish Alerts in First Niagara’s Online Banking.
Q. Can I use Quicken, QuickBooks or MS Money?

Q. How do I schedule payments with Online Bill Pay?
A. After you log on to Online Bill Pay, select “Make a payment to any payee”, then enter the payee information or select a payee from the list you already created. Once you have selected your payee, choose the account to pay from, enter the amount to pay, and then select the payment dates under “Send On”. Be sure to use the calendar icon to select your dates. The Send On date is the date that your payment will be sent and the Deliver By date is the date that the payee will receive your payment.
