Q. Do I have to activate my First Niagara Debit or ATM card?
A. If you received your card prior to September 4, 2009 your card should have been automatically activated on that date. If you received your card after September 4, 2009 you will need to activate you card by calling the number on the back of the card.
Q. Did my account number(s) change?
A. Your First Niagara account number will be the last 10 digits of your National City account number. If your National City account number has fewer than 10 digits, we added zeros to the beginning of your account number to create a 10-digit account number.
Q. Can I still use telephone banking?
A. You can use First Niagara’s Customer Connection Line 24 hours a day to access your accounts by phone. Check your balance, find out if checks have cleared, transfer funds, and more. If you’d like to arrange for telephone banking access, simply call the Customer Connection Line at 1-800-439-8230 and follow the instructions for first time use. Your PIN will be the last 4 digits of your primary telephone number that we have on file.
