First Niagara's newest addition to our business product set is the Remote Deposit capability. Remote Deposit allows you to scan and deposit checks from the comfort of your office. There are many benefits to this new product:
Save time and money - you won't need to send a staff member or courier to the bank on a daily basis to deposit your checks.
Extend cut off times - you can scan items for processing later than your nearby branch may be open and you can deposit multiple times per day.
Timely Deposits - since you can deposit right from your office, you'll never lose time on turning around your remittances because you or a staff member can't make it to the bank. This will help you better manage your cashflow.
How it works:
Remote Deposit is a web-based program so you do not need upgrades to your system or new software.
We will provide the scanning device for a monthly rental fee.
We'll provide quick, easy set- up through online support or a conference call.
You can scan your checks for deposit right from your desktop, multiple times per day.
The scanner provides endorsement so that the check cannot be deposited twice in error.
You will receive an email confirmation upon the Bank's receipt of the file once you transmit.
Once your file is received by us, we will proof and reconcile before entering the deposit.
