Our Third-party Administration Department services self-insured clients in the following areas:

Our Workers' Compensation Department presently administers many self-insured Workers' Compensation Programs for counties, municipalities, school districts as well as private employers. We also provide expert investigations of serious Workers' Compensation exposures throughout New York State.

First Niagara Risk Management's Claims Division acts similar to an Insurance Company in that we handle a claim from start to finish. The Claims Division maintains all statistical records, adjusts claims and makes payments in keeping with the Insurance Laws for New York State.

Our management team stresses professionalism. All of our adjusters are required to become fully licensed in all lines and to obtain the Associate in Claims designation. We encourage them to participate in seminars and continuing education. We strongly support their effort to seek our industry's premier professional designation: Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU).
