Automated Clearing House (ACH) Services
First Niagara Commercial Bank is both a receiving depository financial institution (RDFI) and an originating depository financial institution (ODFI) for all ACH transactions. ACH transfers can be originated through First Niagara Web Banking service or through a municipality's service provider. We provide technical set-up and administrative services for start-up of all types of ACH transactions, including:

• Direct deposit of payroll
• Direct payments from other parties
• Tax payments
• Third party payments (CCDs)

Automated Account Reconciliation
Expedite monthly account balancing of high-volume disbursement accounts with detailed information on checks issued and paid. This service provides month-end reporting of the checks issued, the total amount of checks outstanding and a reconcilement of the balance of the corresponding disbursement account. Full and partial services are available. Electronic images of paid checks are available.

Tax Collection Service
Town, city, county, and school district tax collection programs are available to meet local needs and reduce costs. Internet tax collection programs also are available at low or no costs.

Wire Transfer Service
Secure, same-day wire transfer of funds can be made through the Bank's domestic and foreign wire service provided through our affiliate, First Niagara Bank. Wire transfers are recorded on a real-time basis and can be initiated individually, on a recurring basis or through pre-approved draw-downs.

Remote Deposit Programs
First Niagara offers municipalities and school districts the convenience of processing checks for deposit without coming to the Banking office. A capture system that remotely updates the deposit account collects all information and transmits the check image(s) for clearing and collection. This service is provided directly through First Niagara Bank who installs the necessary processing terminal(s) in the municipality's office for ease of use and timely processing throughout the business day. After hours deposit batches are able to be scheduled for the next business day without going to a night depository.

Night Depository Services
Convenient First Niagara Bank banking centers may be used for night depository facilities where after-hours deposits have to be made. Easy-to-use, secure, and disposable synthetic bags are available free of charge.
