First Niagara is aware of a security breach reported by Hannaford Supermarkets involving all major payment card brands. Although payment card account data may have been put at risk due to this incident, this does not mean that data related to First Niagara debit MasterCard accounts was involved, or that fraud has occurred on accounts. At this time, we are not aware of any First Niagara customers affected by this breach and we are continuing to monitor the situation.

Please remember that it is important that you monitor your account through your monthly statement and, if possible, online banking.
