First Niagara Risk Management, Inc. is a multi-line facility servicing the claim and loss needs of self-insureds and the insurance industry. The claims division operates through four departments:

• Third-party Administrators
• Workers' Compensation
• Auto-Casualty and Liability
• Fire

Our Workers' Compensation Department presently administers many self-insured Workers' Compensation Programs for counties, municipalities, school districts as well as private employers. We also provide expert investigations of serious Workers' Compensation exposures throughout New York State.

The auto-casualty section offers on-the-scene investigations, 24-hours daily, seven days per week. Since inception, the claims division has specialized in servicing the needs of the trucking industry. The liability section administers many self-insured general liability programs for private employers and municipalities. We have senior adjusters who have heavy experience in claims made under product liability exposures, as well as the malpractice exposures.

Our fire section is equipped to offer full property loss coverage for appraisals, agreed figures and adjustments - at every level of exposure and coverage.
